Adani Sportsline Private Limited and its affiliates (collectively, “Adani Sportsline”, “we” or “us” or “our”) respect your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with applicable laws.
Adani Sportsline operates a range of initiatives aimed at promoting fitness, sportsmanship, and community engagement:
Adani Ahmedabad Marathon – A nationally recognized running event supporting the welfare of the Armed Forces and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
Adani Sportsline Academy – A premier training institution offering expert coaching in Cricket, Football, Tennis, and other sports to nurture emerging talent.
Adani Sports Park (Pay and Play) – A recreational facility that allows users to book sports venues for activities such as basketball, cricket, pickleball, volleyball, and skating.
This Notice outlines our practices in relation to the collection, storage, usage, processing, and disclosure of personal data when you access, use, or otherwise interact with our website. This Notice also describes the rights you have with respect to your personal data. At Adani Marathon, Academy & Sports Park, we are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy.
We do collect your personal information and process it in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws which relate to the processing of personal data.
- Personal Data means any data about an individual who is identifiable by or in relation to such data.
- Data Principal means the individual to whom the personal data relates, and where the individual is a child or a person with a disability, includes the parents or lawful guardian of that child, and the lawful guardian of that person with a disability.
- Data Fiduciary means any person who alone or in conjunction with other persons determines the purpose and means of processing of personal data.
- Data Processor means any person who processes personal data on behalf of a Data Fiduciary.
- Processing in relation to personal data means an automated operation or set of operations performed on digital personal data, and may include operations such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, use, alignment or combination, indexing, sharing, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, restriction, erasure or destruction.

4. Lawful basis of Processing
For Sports Park (Pay & Play)
For booking the premise on rent for playing different sports, we may request your consent to process your personal data. You have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Doing so will not affect the legality of any processing carried out before your consent was withdrawn.
For Academy -
For the registration of athletes, including minors, we may request your consent to process personal data. Where the data principal is under the age of 18 or has a disability, verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian may be required. We are committed to safeguarding individuals’ privacy and collecting personal data from athletes and coaches solely based on specific, informed consent.
For Marathon -
To facilitate registration for different kind of marathons offered on the platform, we may request your consent to process your personal data.
We may send marketing communications via email, SMS, or other digital channels based on your consent. You can opt out of receiving such communications at any time by clicking the 'unsubscribe' link in our emails or by contacting us at sportsline@adani.com
To withdraw your consent, you can contact us at sportsline@adani.com. Please note that withdrawing consent will not affect our ability to process your personal data for legitimate uses, such as complying with legal obligations or acting on instructions from government authorities.
5. Sharing of Data
In some cases, we may also share your data with other third parties such as – for managing marathon timings, tracking, registration of athletes, payment processing, notification through WhatsApp or SMS, and issuing completion certificates, or for carrying out social media campaigns or when it is necessary for legal reasons, to comply with regulatory requirements, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale. We ensure that all parties we share data with follow strict data protection and confidentiality standards.
6. Rights and Duties of Data Principals
You may be entitled to the following rights in relation to your personal data as prescribed under Chapter III of the DPDPA 2023:
a) Right to Access Information: You can request access to your personal data anytime you want from us.
b) Right to correction and erasure: You have the right to request corrections to any inaccurate or incomplete data we hold about you. You also have the right to request the erasure of your data in specific situations.
c) Right of grievance redressal: You have the right to access appropriate grievance redressal mechanisms to ensure timely and effective resolution of any complaints or concerns regarding the processing of your personal data.
d) Right to Nominate: You may nominate an individual to exercise your data rights in case of your incapacity or death. This person can manage, access, or request changes to your personal data on your behalf, subject to proper verification.
Further if you are not satisfied with our redressal, you may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India, after exhausting the grievance redressal mechanism provided by our Platform.

Duties of Data Principals: You are expected to provide accurate and up-to-date information to us to facilitate proper data processing. You should cooperate with us to ensure compliance with applicable data protection norms and exercise their rights responsibly, keeping in mind our legitimate interests and legal obligations. Where required by law, you must provide informed consent for the processing of your personal data.

We manage channels, pages, and accounts on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram to share information and engage with employees, vendors, clients, and the public. We may monitor and record comments and posts made about us on these platforms to help improve our products and services.
We advise you to use official and authorized channel only for communication purposes. Please be aware of communicating with us through publicly accessible social media sites with the following information:
a. Content that is inappropriate, offensive, or insulting toward individuals.
b. Any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, hateful, or otherwise offensive based on race, ethnicity, or other grounds.
c. Information that infringes on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.
d. Confidential or personal data, such as financial details, bank account information, and transaction records.
e. Sensitive personal data includes but is not limited to:Adani Sportsline is not accountable for any content shared on third-party social media platforms unless it is officially published by authorized representatives of the company. Our responsibility is limited solely to the personal data we lawfully collect from these platforms, which we process only for legitimate business purposes in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
8. Data Security
We care about keeping your personal information safe and secure. We also make sure that any service providers we work with protect your data the same way we do. If you think your data has been misused, lost, or accessed without permission, please reach out to us at sportsline@adani.com.
9. Consent withdrawal
You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual obligations, by contacting us through the details provided below in section “How to contact us”. Upon receiving your request, we will take reasonable steps to cease the processing of your personal data, unless further retention is required by law. Please note that withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide you with certain services or respond to your requests effectively.
10. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to support the following purposes: registration and participation of athletes in the Marathon, providing coaching and training services within the Academy, and booking premises for various sports offered by Sports Park.
You can request account deletion, data withdrawal and data removal by contacting us at sportsline@adani.com as required by law and for the duration necessary to fulfil its intended purpose, in accordance with our internal data retention and disposal policy.
Your personal data is securely processed and stored only for as long as required for its purpose or as mandated by applicable laws. Once the retention period expires, your data will either be deleted or archived to meet legal retention obligations or in accordance with applicable statutory limitation periods.
11. Breach Notification
Although, the Platform undertakes appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure safety and protection of the personal data of users. However, if there is any data breach; we shall intimate about the breach to affected individuals without delay, including its nature, extent, and the timing and location of its occurrence, on your registered e-mail address.
In congruence with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), we shall also intimate the Data Protection Board (DPB) of India without delay about the breach, including its nature, extent, timing, location of its occurrence, and the likely impact. Within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, a detailed report will be presented to the DPB, including facts related to the events, measures implemented, findings related to the person who caused the breach, remedial measures to prevent recurrence, and a report of intimation to affected individuals.

You understand that you have the option to access this privacy notice in English or in any of the languages specified in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail.
