Lakshmi Jadala, Asia’s top-ranked para lawn tennis player with an intellectual disability, has qualified for the Special Olympics World Games 2027 in Cairo, Egypt. He secured his spot after winning the gold medal at the National Tennis Championship 2025 (Disability Sports) held in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The 15-year-old won all three of his matches in straight sets in the U-17 junior category to make it to the Special Olympics 2027.

Lakshmi’s journey is marked by numerous achievements and a relentless dedication to his sport, making him an inspiring figure in the realm of para-athletics.

A promising athlete under Adani Sportsline’s “Garv Hai” initiative, Lakshmi continues to inspire with his exceptional talent and determination, with dreams of playing in global tournaments like the Australian Open.
